The SL3000UL8 is smooth and exceptionally quiet, the most popular of all slide gate operating systems in the U.S.. This unit, perfected since 1982, has been sold to over 15000 communities throughout North America. It can handle a gate up to 1000 lbs. and 37 ft. in length and has a traveling speed of 12 inches per second. It comes with an auto timer and 2 way reversing sensor as standard features. Low cost optional features include a power backup and safety loop. Elite uses high quality materials such as stainless steel, cold rolled steel, phosphorus bronze, and fiberglass that provide high corrosion resistance for years of dependable operation. The digital current Two Way Reversing Sensor continuously monitors the motor current. It can be set for both the opening or closing cycles. If the gate is closing and hits a vehicle, the sensor detects the increased load on the motor and reverses. If the gate is opening and hits a vehicle, it stops. The sensor is advanced enough to not react to wind resistance or operation on off level installations.
A LiftMaster / Chamberlain 312Hm receiver and "built-in" surge suppression are included. Carries a Liftmaster / Chamberlain 7-Year Residential Warranty or 5 Year Commercial Warranty.
