Let’s talk about the BFT Cell Box Push to Call and the Cell Box w/Keypad

Let’s talk about this cool and practical product that we have all wished we had in the past and is now readily available for our everyday use… I’m talking about the BFT Cell Box Push to Call and the Cell Box w/Keypad.

These are 3G, QUAD Band GSM modem 850/900/1800/1900 MHz cellular telephone entry unit that works on prepaid SIM or contract cell connection and can easily be programmed via SMS Text Messaging, it comes inside of a stainless steel, IP-65 rated weatherproof cabinet with a key lockable hinged front access door for easy install and service. Now the true beauty of this little toy is the fact that it gives you the ability to control your gate by simply sending it text messages, you can also answer the calls from the Cell Box and grant or deny access to people at your gate at three different preprogrammed telephone numbers in predetermined order, including a land line if you wish, and receive a call to your cell phone anywhere in the world. It comes with 1000 recognizable registered users and the keypad version holds up to 1000 codes as well. Works with 12 VDC and even has a “Latch” or “Hold Open” feature. All of this backed up by a 3 year manufacturer’s warranty.

So now there is a true, viable solution for those times when a hardwired system is not possible and the wireless system is not enough…

Question: Cyndi has a rather unique problem… I have a 423lm receiver and having a issue programing it. Should a 63lmc remote work with the receiver?

Answer: Good afternoon Cyndi, although I am not able to locate any reference to the 631MC (possibly a discontinued system), your receiver should work with any 390Mhz, “learn” capable remote such as the 973LM or the 890MAX.

Question: Scott from New Mexico wanted to know: I need to do some service on my FAAC barrier gate and would like to know the best way to remove the spring counterweight?
