Apollo 1500 Swing gate Operator is battery powered, solar or AC charged single gate operator for Residential or Farm applications. Recommended for single gates up to 14 feet in length and up to 400 pounds. See Model 1550 ETL if UL listed is required for your application.

This operator utilizes the 633/634 circuit board and may be used in either a push-to-open or pull-to-open application with a simple wiring change.  

Dimensions: 18" X 18" X 8" deep, galvanized NEMA 3R weather-resistant enclosure.  

System includes circuit board, actuator with 8 feet of cable, mounting arm, hardware, battery box and safety sign. Optional 10 Watt solar panel or AC Charger. Some welding (recommended) or drilling required for mounting. Requires a 12 Volt, 105 amp hour deep-cycle marine battery (not included). Black powder-coat finish.

SPECIAL APPLICATIONS: Can be used in push to open or pull to open applications. This permits the choice of having the power drive cylinder inside or outside the gate regardless of hinge left or right. Direct drive system attaches directly to the gate.

OPEN OR CLOSE CYCLE TIME: Each direction, 15 seconds.

BATTERY/CONTROL PANEL BOX: 18" (46 cm) x 18" (46 cm) x 8" (20 cm) Galvanized, Weather resistant NEMA 3R.

ACTUATOR: Rust proof linear; acme screw drive; self-lubricating gears. Supplied with 8 ft. (2.4 m) of cable. Externally adjustable limit switches.

POWER OUTAGE: In the event of electrical power outage, or significantly overcast days, a fully charged deep cycle marine battery (recommended) will provide up to 300 cycles or 30 days usage on a basic system before requiring a recharge.

CIRCUIT BOARD: all standard Apollo gate operators are shipped with the 635 / 636 circuit board.
